the armor of God

Visualize it—put it on paper!

One day I was asked if I would draw the Armor of God and the person wearing it. She gave me a short description and an image for reference, and soon enough I was launched into this fun project of seeing her armor put on paper. "Wow, that is how she looks like with her armor!" I would think excited.

Other thoughts would pop up in my mind of how it would be pretty encouraging for others to see themselves in their armor, it would motivate them to suit up from the very moment they wake up! That is what we are told, "Put on the armor first thing in the morning." At times we don't do it right away. Other times we get lax and thus we are not properly equipped for the day ahead. But I bet seeing yourself in it, literally, would be lifting up your spirit with encouragement somehow. Of course, a drawing skill cannot fully nail it completely on how you envision it in your 3D view in your mind [Laugh] but what can be done, is done, so as to closely resemble it.

For example the drawing bellow, which I was asked to do, as I went step-by-step:

Armor - Mother Elisabeth.jpg

First thing first, Mothers and Father go first [Laugh]. The Lord and I will be doing the Armor of God of our other superiors to encourage them. Then, it will be as the Lord leads and as it follows, the idea is not limited only to our superiors, however, the point is to take anyone's request.

So, dear brothers and sisters in the Community of the Heartdwellers, after we are done with the Armor of our Superiors, [you will see them here, I will post all armors on this page,] after them, it will be your turn. So, if you desire to see yourself with your armor put on paper, get ready to email me: a short, but accurate, description of the full armor [not too extra detailed please [Laugh]]. And if possible, attach also a reference image so I would have an idea as of where to begin with.

Be encouraged and inspired.

EPHESIANS 6:10-18

The Whole Armor of God

"A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.

Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm. Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness.  For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared. In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil. Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere."
